Welcome from the headteacher
Welcome to Kirby Primary Academy.
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website. At Kirby Primary Academy, we pride ourselves in being a community school with our pupils at the heart of everything we do.
With a wonderful team of staff who are dedicated to providing learning opportunities within and outside the classroom, I know that every child leaves here ready for their next learning adventure, being secondary ready, having enjoyed their school life here and reaching the very best outcomes they can. Kirby Primary Academy is a caring school and staff go above and beyond to support the pupils here.
Dedicated to lifelong learning and providing exceptional learning opportunities for all are at the heart of Kirby Primary Academy and we recognise that every child is unique and can succeed. We ensure our pupils have experiences beyond the classroom and we are proud of our 11B411 promises which enable pupils to thrive and develop into well rounded citizens with an understanding of the wider world.
Primary schools are at the very heart of the community and Kirby Primary Academy has a wonderful community supporting it.
We have an unwavering belief in success for all and everyone in our school is 'dedicated to lifelong learning'. We have three simple rules that are the bedrock of our school:-
Be kind
Be respectful
Be responsible
Kirby Primary Academy is part of the REAch2 family of schools. We work collaboratively with REAch2 Cluster 6, as well as with local primary and secondary schools.
I am extremely proud to be the headteacher of Kirby and it is a privilege to be part of such a wonderful school. Our recent OFSTED highlighted just how wonderful in their report stating:-
